The 14th Amendment Just Got Cooler

Just as with studying for Archeology and substituting the idea of (chronometric) "dating" for (relationship) "dating" to make notes more interesting, I've found a similarly awesome nuance in my Criminal Justice notes. So for everytime I abbreviated the term "Due Process" as D.P., in my mind it's translated as... (I'm now thinking "Double Penetration", for all you classy-minded people.) Of course this makes the interpretation of cases under the 6th and 14th Amendments much more entertaining:

The members of the Warren Court led a criminal law revolution with their advocacy of the D.P. approach to law.

Under the 5th Amendment, no person can be denied D.P.

The 14th Amendment assures at no state shall deprive a person of life, liberty or the pursuit of happiness without D.P.

That is to say, you can kill someone, as long as you double-team them first. Cool, right? It's even better when you think of members of the U.S. Supreme Court double-teaming random U.S. citizens. Of all of them, I'd take Thomas and Breyer. Alright, I should stop this because I don't think it could possibly get anymore disturbing.

Oh wait, yes it can. Imagine this, but naked:

NOW I'm going to study for real.
